I would also suggest a merchant in all elite ares as well. Every time we do a DoA full run we leave a good 30k worth of items on the ground.

I dont think we need a merch on every level but maybe on every 3rd level or something. Same with in Tombs,Deep and urgoz.
ive been farming Tombs and I am out of space by middle of 2nd level so I have to start salvaging stuff.
If not a merch then add something like a sup rune of holding.
Upgrades belt pouch to 10 bags to 20.
Maybe -10hp per rune or something so were not getting something for nothing.

i think there is a reason for salvage kits...
anything less then 100g in value gets salvaged whenever i run a dungeon
